The modern roundabout is a circular intersection in which all traffic flows in one direction. Drivers must merge into that flow and exit at the appropriate point. They're in Europe, Asia and the United States, and have now arrived here on Prince Edward Island.
When you think about it, life can be like a roundabout too. The road seems straight and clear and then, without warning, we are facing a roundabout - sickness, financial crises, marital break-up. What seemed certain has disappeared and we find ourselves going round and round the circle trying to find the right exit.
At such times, it's important to remember that God is in control. He sees the beginning and the end and although we cannot change the circumstances, we can confidently turn to Him for guidance. One of the proverbs advises, "Trust in the Lord with all your heard and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."
