Sunday "Kid's Church":
Each Sunday morning during the pastor's message time, children aged 6 to 12 are invited to go downstairs for "Kid's Church". We have volunteers who teach a simple biblical truth, share stories about God's love, and spend time in prayer with the youngsters. It's a safe environment for your children and visitors are invited to take advantage of this children's ministry.
Sunday Nursery:
Parents are invited to take advantage of our newly renovated nursery where children aged 0 to 5 years will be tenderly and lovingly cared for by volunteers during the pastor's message time of Sunday morning service. Children are taught simple Bible truths in a clean and safe environment. We have a "no shoes" policy in our nursery room; we would appreciate your cooperation!
Weekly Prayer Meetings:
Healthy, vibrant relationships require open communication, and prayer is the way we communicate with God. Jesus said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer" (Matt 21:13a NKJV). We want to continue to be a praying church body. On Wednesday evenings at Georgetown Baptist Church, from 7:00 to 8:00, we come together to pray through thanksgiving, intercession, sharing our burdens, and listening to God. Ladies Bible Study:
This is a time for women of all walks of life to come, laugh, learn, grow and just let go! It's a time to hear from God, talk with other women, and unload some of the burdens we carry in our day to day lives. We meet once a month, on the third Tuesday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We invite you to come, be encouraged and have a little fun!
